Dear Mr. Rochester,
Please consider what I must say to you regarding our issue. There is not a day that goes by in my life that I regret ever being your governess. I passionately love Adele with all my heart. And it is not just Adele I have grown to love within my time at Thornfield Hall. I have especially savored every minute of our time spent together, Mr. Rochester. You are a tremendous, wonderful man and it hurts me to explain why I have left you at such a spontaneous moment.
The position you are in between you and your wife has put me in a difficult position as well. As much as we try to avoid or work through this situation, I continue to believe that it will not result as a success. If you truly love me, Mr. Rochester, you will let me go. We will move forward from where we are and grow within our separate ways. But, love will forever be within our hearts for each other. I will always love you, beyond all turmoils. I hope you can accept my sudden absence and my sincere apology. Be well and may God bless you.
Sincerely,
Jane Eyre
