Steps1. The night before, put the oats, salt, milk, and double cream into a heavy-based saucepan.
2. Bring slowly to a boil. 3. Remove from the heat. 4. Cover with a tightly fitting lid. 5. Leave overnight. 6. The next morning, stir the porridge. 7. Place the pan on the cooker. 8. Cook gently for ten minutes. *Remember to continue stirring the entire time unless you would like burnt porridge as well! 9. Serve very hot with brown sugar and honey. |
