Written by Georgiana Reed:
My mother lived a sad life. Tragedy after tragedy has befallen on her. It all started the day her beloved husband, my stepfather, died. From that point in time things continued to worsen.
Before father had passed, he made mother promise him to raise his niece as her own. Jane made mother's life a living Hell. None of us, my siblings or I, liked her. She was an outcast. Mother raised us all, and when Jane was ten she ws sent to school.
Many years passed without Jane. Even though Jane was a problem that was now solved, other events affected mother. My brother John was becoming involved in horrid activities. This only made mother more distrught. When he died, things only became worse.
Shortly after these events, mother became ill. She sent for Jane one day, though I do not know why. Jane came for a while, but left shortly after.
My sister and I, along with Jane, have started lives of our own. So has our mother. She is now in paradie with father living happily and watching over us. May she rest in peace.
